Geneva Elementary principal transforms into Santa to deliver items to school's neediest children

Principal of Geneva Elementary School Keith Conley prepares to deliver presents on Monday, Dec. 18, 2017 in Orem. Conley has been delivering presents to students’ families for four years. Santa Claus strolled down a hill in Orem on Monday with a friendly wave and a jolly “ho ho ho.”

“We are giving kids hope,” said Keith Conley, the man in the big red suit and the principal of Geneva Elementary School in Orem. “We are giving families hope.”

It was his second year transforming into the big man to deliver food, blankets, toys and clothing to some of the school’s neediest families. Conley sat on the back of a trailer stacked with hay as school employees visited 10 houses to sing a Christmas carol, drop off the items and give the children some candy.
