In honor of Veterans Day, Entrepreneur is highlighting the work of former military entrepreneurs who are building their own businesses, chasing their dreams, and kicking a whole lot of ass in the process. (Answers have been edited and condensed for clarity.)

Who are you and what is your business?

I am Andrew Weins and I am the owner and operator of the Menomonee Falls, WI territory of JDog Junk Removal & Hauling . I also own and oversee territories in northern Chicagoland and San Diego. JDog is a national company that awards franchise territories exclusively to military veterans and veteran family members — people who understand the notion of service to our country, hard work, and dedication.

How many people do you employ? I currently employ 20 full-time employees and two part-time employees. What branch did you serve? I have served overseas in Iraq and Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. […]
